    Copper nitrate hexahydrate is also known as cupric nitrate, is a blue, deliquescent, crystalline solid. Soluble in water and alcohols and having a density of 2.1. It's uses include - light-sensitive papers, analytical reagent, mordant in textile dyeing, nitrating agent, insecticide for vines, coloring copper black, electoplating, production of burnished effect on iron, paints, varnishes, enamels, pharmaceutical preparations, and catalysts. Packaged in a wide mouth polyethylene jar with screw cap.This material is shipped in compliance with USPS Publication 52 as an ORM-D.  Shipping .05.
