Royal Copenhagen Antique Porcelain Art Nouveau 5" Dish w Gold Gilt 19th c Danmark Mark
Up for bid is a sweet delicate porcelain dish made by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark. It features art nouveau styling with hand painted floral bouquet and scalloped edge with gold trim.
The underside is marked with crown back stamp with word DANMARK below. This format dates from 1894 to 1900. In addition, the back is marked with three blue wave lines and the numbers 60/2505 and 8.
Piece measures approx 5 1/4" across. The sides turn up slightly and are trimmed in gold. It is NOT a saucer.
Condition: It is without chips, cracks, nicks or dings. There is no surface wear (no rubs, no utensil marks or scratches).
A beautiful and unusual piece!
