Sunpak Auto 522 Thyristor Handle Mount Flash Lot of Two (2)

Description

Set of two Sunpak 522 flashes.  One working ... one not (note: working flash has short Velcro strip which was added when used with an external power source such as a Quantum 2 battery pack ... needed to keep battery cover closed and can be removed if standard AA batteries are used.  Includes camera connecting cables; one good length standard PC type, other rather short min-jack.  Both flashes have battery carriers which are clean and in good condition.  Working flash has full set of six (6) AA batteries with 2027/2029 expiration dates (Fluke meter is NOT included in listing).  Pictures show flash charged up and indication of successful flash operation. Auto mode appears to be working.  Fire flash into 'dark' scene and there is a large flash of light and firing into a 'light' scene a much shorter flash of light. Extra camera mounting bracket included but missing 1/4-20 knurled screw. Camera bracket can be adjusted in 30 degree increments relative to flash main body. Flash easily detaches from camera bracket with a push of a button to have off camera flash positions (ceiling bounce, etc).
