Vintage 1950s Order of Demolay Patch 2 Rubies 8 Pearls 5 3/4" x 4 1/4" MINT NEW

Description

This is a Vintage 1950s Order of Demolay Patch with
2 Rubies and 8 Pearls. Never used, new, mint condition.
The patch measures 5 3/4" tall by 4 1/4" wide.
The Order Of DeMolay originally had nine members and founder
Dad Frank S. Land. The original crest of the order contained ten
pearls, one for each living member and the founder. When one of
them died, the pearl was replaced with a ruby. The first member to
die was Ivan M. Bentley in 1921. The second member was Louis G.
Lower in 1943. Dad Frank Land was the third in 1959. That would
date this patch as having been made sometime after 1943 and before
1959.
