Vintage Anatomical Model of Eye

Early model of eye, wonderful vintage coloration. Possibly made by Nystrom or Denoyer Geppert, suspect it was made in the U.S. Estimating age 1930-1940. Excellent specimen for a science collector, intriguing sculpture for an interior design project.
Piece hand painted plaster, blown glass on wood base. It measures 5" x 5" x 6". Disassembles to show interior details, originally would have had a convex lens covering the opening, came with a flat piece of glass. Evidence of small surface and repair as you will see in the pictures. I'd say skillfully and tastefully done. Pins firmly in place, holes in good shape
There is paint flaking, crazing, places where paint has worn and possibly faded and/or discolored, wear commensurate with age of the piece.
